FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE...

Hailing from the American Midwest, the band BIG TIME began in 1992 when four aspiring musicians, Aaron Vorass (keyboards, guitars, vocals) brothers James "JR" (guitars, vocals), Nathan Pleshek (bass) and Brian Navoichick (drums) formed the popular and locally successful band Second Wind. After drummer Brian Navoichick decided to leave to pursue other interests, Brian Fehrman (drums) was a welcome addition that inspired a new direction and the new name BIG TIME!

The band's live sets include choice cover material from bands like the Bo'Deans, U2, & Matchbox 20. However, their greatest acclaim comes from showcasing their original music, reputed for it's stylistic and infectious groove. James is a nationally recognized talent. While many of James and Aaron's songs are true to the contemporary rock sound, they have found that strong melodies and lyrical substance transcend popular musical stereotypes. James has collaborated in Nashville with newcomer and national recording artist Bryan Smith and has had material pitched to such super stars as Hootie & The Blowfish, Vince Gill, Patty Loveless and Garth Brooks aka 'Chris Gaines.' "Broken, " and "Blame ", both written by James, will be included on
BIG TIME, the band's upcoming CD release.

From the beginning BIG TIME has concentrated on developing an original sound, one true to their small town roots, yet with a polished modern rock edge. Aaron's smooth, soulful vocals are reminiscent of a young Bono, while the harmonic interplay between James and Aaron add'strue feel and emotion to today's rock. Anchoring the bottom end are Brian and Nathan. This groove duo generate a driving, rhythmic energy that grabs you and won't let go. Every show big or small is a "must see" event. Don't miss BIG TIME as they hit your area soon.
