"There's no doubt that the internet provides tremendous potential for recording artists," says James Pleshek
of the band BIG TIME. However, establishing a 'presence' on the web can be quite a challenge for performing artists. Not only do musicians need the necessary skills and talent for their craft, they also need to keep pace with the ever changing world of technology.
As designer and webmaster of www.bigtimefans.com, James is ever conscious and excited about the ongoing fusion of electronic media.
"It took several months of hard work to get our site listed with Yahoo and several of the other major search engines," says James. "But it was worth the effort. After www.bigtimefans.com was featured in Yahoo we've had thousands of 'hits' from all over the globe."
"The web truly allows an unknown band to go global," according to Aaron Vorass of' BIG TIME.
"We've had people visit our website from France, Germany, Italy, even Hong Kong and New Zealand; not to mention
nearly every state in the U.S."
With the approaching release of their debut album, BIG TIME hopes their music will have not only
global 'exposure' but also global 'appeal'!
